Turn our crappy flash site into an ecommerce site!

We are a jewelry store that is looking to update our website to be an ecommerce site. We like our current color scheme but we’re open to suggestion. We want a shopping cart set up so that we can start selling our jewelry online. We must have this site be easy to update! We have a lot of inventory that we want to add to our site and more coming in all the time, we don’t want to have to hire someone to update our inventory on the site constantly. This is a MUST. I don’t care how cheaply you would update the inventory for me or how often it will always be unacceptable to have to send you our jewelry pictures and information so that you can upload it.

We have all of the content and product images but you will need to create the theme or template for the site as well as check out buttons so some graphic design will be necessary.

We do want Categories and sub-Categories to drop down from our menu and sub categories. So for instance, Rings >> collections >> materials (Rings>>bridal>>14k gold)

We want to be able to ad very detailed descriptions to our pieces to include things like gem quality, metal quality, colors, descriptions, etc. we would like to be able to ad videos to our product pages and have the product images expand when people roll over them or click on the image. We also want related products to show up at the bottom of a product page but we would like to be able to some how tell it which products are related.

I’m thinking about using Authorize.net as my merchant account so I need someone familiar with setting it up from start to finish.

We want social integration, so Facebook like buttons, twitter, pinterest, google +1, etc. We want people to be able to share our site as well as have buttons to take them to our social networking sites.

We also need a mobile friendly version of the site. If at all possible I would like to have a site that automatically detects a mobile device and adjusts but that I only need to update in one place. Basically I don’t want to have to log in twice to update my inventory on my main domain and a mobile subdomain.

We are very familiar with wordpress and using wordpress as a portfolio is there any way we can do something similar only make it an ecommerce site where we ad each item as a post and then ad tags and categories to each post?

These are a couple of the sites that we like:
This one we love their detailed product descriptions, related products and overall color scheme – http://www.malanijewelers.com/Mangalsutra-Diamond-Mangalsutra-sku363-01007.aspx

We think this one looks very clean and professional – http://www.shahji.com/

We want something clean and professional but fun.

We want to get started no later than Thursday and this MUST be completed by November 20th. If you can’t work with this timeline DO NOT WASTE MY TIME. I expect DAILY updates and constant communication throughout.

Do Not Apply if you don’t have a portfolio with ecommerce sites in it. I must see examples of past work. This is not an opportunity to “earn while you learn” I expect someone who is already knowledgeable of everything it takes to put this site together.
